Bill Peterson is the Minister for Youth, Outreach and Social Justice at St. John’s. A graduate of the University of Minnesota with degrees in philosophy (the first time) and English Education (the second time, after he couldn’t find work as a philosopher), and United Theological Seminary (because at some point finding work as a theologian seemed plausible), he is married, the father of two, and step-father of three.
He has been involved with religious and secular education for over 30 years. He is responsible for the youth in grades 6 to 12 as well as guiding both current and future outreach and social justice initiatives for all ages. Excited to be part of a community that is so vibrant, creative and healthy, he is especially passionate about service learning and intergenerational activities.
