Ways to give

Offering envelopes. All are welcome and encouraged to support St John’s through an annual financial commitment or pledge. These pledges support our daily operations, our outreach, our Christian Education programs and our various ministries. You let the church know what amount you feel called to give each year, and then envelopes are provided which you can bring to church when it is convenient for you, or you can mail the envelopes to church. Contact the office at 612.922.0396 or info@stjohns-mpls.org to receive a pledge card.

Fourth Sunday. On the fourth Sunday of each month, we pass an additional offering basket during the Sunday services for contributions to our justice and peace work.

Automatic withdrawl. If you’d like to have your financial pledge automatically withdrawn from your checking account each month – saving you time and money, and making your deposits more consistent for St John’s – you can set up an auto-withdrawl system. Contact the office at 612.922.0396 or info@stjohns-mpls.org to receive the appropriate forms.

On-line giving. St John’s doesn’t have on-line giving capability right now, but check back – we hope to have it up and running some day soon!

Periodic giving. If you would prefer to provide St John’s with a one-time gift of cash, you can simply mail a check with a note explaining your intention to St John’s, 4201 Sheridan Av So, Minneapolis, MN  55410.

Stocks and securities. Gifts of appreciated stocks and securities can be an excellent way to share God's gifts. There are two ways to make a donation of securities: through an electronic transfer authorization or physical delivery. Either way, please contact the office at 612.922.0396 or info@stjohns-mpls.org to learn more.
