Bill Peterson is the Minister for Children, Youth and Families at St. John’s.  A graduate of the University of Minnesota with degrees in philosophy (the first time) and English Education (the second time, after he couldn’t find work as a philosopher), and United Theological Seminary (because at some point finding work as a theologian seemed plausible), he is married, the father of two, and step-father of three.

He has been involved with religious and secular education for over 30 years. He is responsible for the nursery, church school program, confirmation, youth program, acolyte training and intergenerational events. Excited to be part of a community that is so vibrant, creative and healthy, he is especially passionate about service learning and intergenerational activities.
