Joe White is the Children’s Minister at St. John’s. Joe hails from Dyersville, Iowa home to “Field of Dreams” so it seems natural that faith and spirituality are a big part of his life. A graduate of Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, he holds a Masters in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University in New Orleans, and is a trained spiritual director through the Center for Spiritual Guidance in Minneapolis.

Joe has worked in faith formation and integrative spirituality with all ages for over 20 years. At St. John’s he is responsible for children ages birth through grade 5 as well as intergenerational programs. Joe works part-time with Bill Peterson, our Minister of Youth, Outreach and Social Justice; Joe also works at St Frances Cabrini Parish in Minneapolis. Joe is excited to be using his knowledge and creative talents in such a wonderful community as St. John’s.
