Visioning Process
St. John’s vestry met in a day-long retreat on November 14, to reflect on what we heard and learned in the parish discernment process. We are deeply grateful to the 135 members who participated in the varied gatherings throughout September and October to help us answer this question:
As we bring together our deepest longings and greatest gifts, how do we imagine the future God is bringing forth among and through us?

At Sunday’s Annual Meeting, the vestry reported what it learned from the parish discernment conversations last fall and outlined proposed steps forward. Mariann also preached about this process in her sermon.
For the next three weeks, until the beginning of Lent, we ask that you let us know if you would like to help in one of the three areas we’ve outlined as priorities, and in which area you’d like to contribute. When the ingathering phase is complete, we’ll convene working groups and begin our work.
